You Don’t Need To Be Perfect To Be Used By God

Growing up, I thought I had to fix everything about myself before God could use me. I thought He needed perfection, consistency, discipline, and flawless holiness. But when I looked at the Bible, I found a different story. God used liars, doubters, misfits, outsiders, and people the world would call disqualified. That means He can use you too.

Moses had a speech problem. David had a past. Peter had a temper. Paul had history. But God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called (1 Corinthians 1:27). The enemy wants you to believe you are too flawed to be useful, but God sees potential where you see problems. He sees purpose where you see weakness.

Your imperfections don’t push God away. They invite His power in. His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Stop disqualifying yourself from something God already approved.
